My draft Writing

My discovery of the Egyptian tomb.

Dear diary:

On early April 2 1952, me and my group were planning to go on an adventure to the Egyptian deserts in north Africa where the Nile river is located. We drove all the way to the airport, to get our tickets for our flight to the africa. After hours on the plane, we finally arrived in Africa, so we started our adventure to try and discover artifacts in the desert, we had all the things we needed to start our adventure in the mysterious desert. We started a big party search to find ancient artifact from egyption royal tombs and etc..

There were 4 of us, each one took North, South, West and the East. I took the South.

So here I am by myself  searching the desert, with the uncompany of the heating sun.  As I traveled throughout the heating desert, I came across a permanent, my emotions were quickly heighted and I was feeling scared to see what was in the tomb or what could be roaming in it. But if I don’t there won’t be a point of us coming here anyways.

So I called my group to meet me . The problem is it took them like 3 hours to arrive, Once they all arrived, we decided to go and check out whatever is in that permanent. So we got in without any regrets. Inside was dark and and real creepy, we walked inside it like it was forever, but the next thing I saw was a coffin. I was too afraid to open or to get close to it, thinking something would jump out and eat us all. So my friend Zac went to check it out, when he opened there was a mummy wrapped  in  wrappers but there were 4 artefacts of different animals faces.

I was scared to open it because I heard that when an Egyptian person or a royal person  dies they have to take out the organ of the body.

After being in the permanent we took everything valuable including the mummy and the coffin/Tomb. We took to our lab. And tried to research it to see if we could find anything useful.

After researching important values and who died in the tomb, it turns out who died was just a loyal servant to a powerful king, Pharaoh.

Riddle day

Today me and my group were given an activities of doing riddles and puzzle, our first mystery  activity  was a puzzle of a hippopotamus.

Our second activity was a second puzzle, about a symbol, doing it was probably the hardest one out of all the three puzzles.

Our last puzzle was the about a space ship I think with dark clouds all over the ship.
So after all the activities we started doing maths quiz, we some and easy questions it came with letters when we got the answer right, so we has to write down all the letters that was given by our teacher, after getting all the letters, it was scrambled, so all we had to do was to unscramble the words, into a name of a country with unscrambling the word we had a map to help us with the name. After unscrambling the words we found the city out which was ancient Egypt.

World news

Egypt has confirmed that they now have the corona virus with two patients that have died from the virus. The two was a 78 year old Italian woman and a 70 year old Egyptian man, also died in a isolation hospital.
Since the out break has hit Egypt 26  patients has been recovered  from the virus and that they have been discharged from the isolation hospital.
My opinion on outbreak is that since Egypt has the corona virus. They should be really careful of what they touch, they should wear mask wash there hands at all times, move away when people cough and sneeze. they should mostly look after their alders.

Story poem

I see you getting in trouble
I'm scared to ask you why
I know i want to fix it
I know I’m willing to help

But..
What If what i say sounds wrong?
Am i Forcing you to be strong?
What if I make matters worse?
I don’t want to be thrown out

Still..
I can’t have you thinking
Your fighting on your own

The history of the Jack 'O' lantern

Yesterday the 31 of October we had our Halloween and also celebrated our teacher's birthday, Miss Costello. It was fun. She gave us four activities and so we did them. It was really enjoyable and fun at the same time. One of my favourite activities was the Jack 'O' lantern, or as I call it ,the mandarin lanterns because it was a mandarin and we use sharpies to draw spooky faces to make it look like a Jack 'O' lantern. After our drawing and our video which is in Riley's blog post, I hope......  and our video also came with the history that me and Riley read. Go and check it out.   Here's the history of the Jack 'O' lantern.

The original jack-o'-lanterns were carved from turnips, But the Jack the one who made the Jack 'O' lantern founded that carving a pumpkin  is easier. He created it and put it around his farm and all sorts of places to scare of the evil spirits. And it worked!
